We are passionate about all things running and are dedicated to helping you become the best runner that you can be.

Now in our fourth year of hosting these successful events, we welcome runners of any level on our training events. Your weekend will be packed full of the information you need to unlock your running potential, complimented with training runs designed to put this knowledge into effect.

Whether you’re keen to get the edge on upcoming races, want to boost your general training or simply want to try training in a group environment and meet other runners you are welcome to join the Run-Fast team for a fun and informative programme.

This year the Run-Fast summer training weekend will be held in the spectacular Cairngorms National Park, a mountain range in the eastern Highlands of Scotland. Twice the size of the Lake District, the Cairngorms has more mountains, forest paths, rivers, lochs and wildlife hotspots than you can possibly imagine.

What You Can Expect:

The aim of the Run-Fast training weekend is to give you the opportunity to live and train like an athlete, but importantly also enjoy the company and learn from other like-minded runners. There will be a variety of guided runs with the Run-Fast team. There will also be ample time in between the runs and activities to appreciate some all important rest and relaxation.

Meals and snacks will be provided throughout the weekend.

Rough Itinerary:

Arrival and introduction to the Run-Fast team. There will be an optional easy run, depending on what time people arrive, followed by a hearty dinner to fuel up for the following day.

The morning will see us doing a coach-led hill session. This will be suitable for all abilities and can be tailored to individuals goals if necessary, but it should be challenging and rewarding in equal measure. After a well-earned breakfast and some time to rest, there will be the option of visiting various nearby attractions. Options include the nearby Highland Wildlife Park and Loch Insh, with a range of water sports on offer. In the afternoon there will be an optional easy recovery run followed by a seminar on Nutrition for Runners. And with all that nutritional knowledge in mind we will then enjoy a delicious and nutritious dinner.

Sunday morning can only mean one thing: the long run. This will give us great opportunity to explore the trails of the Cairngorms National Park, with a member of the Run-Fast team acting as marker for runners of varying abilities. The rest of the day can be spend as the group wishes, and we can decide this together depending on how much people are feeling. In the afternoon/early evening there will be a 'Conditioning and Drills for Runners' session on offer for those with any energy left! We will then enjoy one last dinner together, for which we may venture into the local village to find a suitable pub/restaurant, again depending on group preferences.

There will be the option of a final run in the lovely surrounding area, followed by breakfast and then packing up to head back to reality, where everyone can hopefully go back slightly more inspired and ready to put what they’ve learned on the weekend into practice.
